FPDC Plaisterers' Awards

>> forward to Plaisterers' Awards 2009 Results

About the Awards

The FPDC Plaisterers' Awards is one of the oldest industry awards and is widely recognised for rewarding the higest standards of skill and excellence in plastering and associated trades. The competition runs every year and is organised with the support of the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers.

In 2009, the awards introduced additional categories to recognise work of the highest standard in screeding, steel frame systems and ceilings.

All entrants, including those short-listed, and especially category award winners and overall award winners benefit from being associated with the prestige and standing of the coveted Plaisterers' Awards.

For the winners, there is not only the lasting satisfaction of actually winning one of the Plaisterers' Awards but also the public recognition of your company as a key player in the sector. Winning creates numerous corporate PR opportunities as well as an opportunity for the winning teams to shine in the limelight at the awards presentation, which is always held on the first Tuesday in February and celebrated with a luncheon.

The 2009 awards presentation is on February 2nd 2010.

Who can enter?

This is an industry event and is open to any company involved in a building project including specialist contractors, architects, building owners, main contractors, suppliers and manufacturers. You do not have to be an FPDC member.

What can be entered?

The job must have been completed within the 18 months immediately preceding the closing date for entries. Entries that have been previously entered for the awards cannot be resubmitted.

Judging & Awards Presentation

There is an independant panel of judges for each of the awards. Each panel will inspect all entries submitted in their categories with the panel's decision being final. The winning entries will be announced and presented at the awards luncheon at Plaisterers' Hall.
